Lies We Are Told Of The Nature Of Our Wounds

Lies We Are Told Of The Nature Of Our Wounds
Thai trip
An Old Hello – Photograph by Julian J Jackson

Woman revealed
Most vital, most intimate
Most succulent.

Same features on each body
She is revealed

A wound is a feather, is a pen
Is still bleeding

We tell her:
The wound is fictional, is a manifest of her thought
Is her fault.
